Petrobras approves settlements for four New York-based lawsuits

SAO PAULO, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Brazil's state-run oil company Petrobras said on Friday its board has approved settlements for four lawsuits sought by investors in New York Federal Court and it currently estimates a provision of $353 million to cover the costs.

Petrobras said the settlements include lawsuits led by Pimco Total Return Fund, Dodge & Cox International Stock Fund , Janus Overseas Fund and Al Shams Investments.
