LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) _ PHI Inc. (PHII) on Monday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $105.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Lafayette, Louisiana-based company said it had a loss of $6.70. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 30 cents per share.
The helicopter transportation company serving the oil and gas industry posted revenue of $176 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $141.5 million, or $8.95 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $674.4 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $2.42. A year ago, they were trading at $10.25.
