Pistons guard Avery Bradley denies sexual assault allegation
Detroit Pistons guard Avery Bradley’s lawyer denied a sexual assault accusation against his client stemming from an alleged incident during the Eastern Conference finals on May 23, when he was a member of the Boston Celtics playing in Cleveland against the Cavaliers, according to TMZ Sports.
Bradley’s attorney, Brian Wolf, acknowledged a confidentiality agreement between Bradley and his accuser. According to TMZ Sports, Bradley’s accuser is a reality star who alleged he “sexually assaulted her while she was passed out drunk” and received a settlement that may have exceeded six figures.
“Mr. Bradley absolutely denies having engaged in wrongdoing whatsoever,” Wolf told TMZ Sports. “The confidentiality agreement specifically refutes and denies the validity of all allegations of any wrongful conduct by Mr. Bradley. The sole purpose of the agreement was to protect the reputation and privacy of Mr. Bradley and his family.”
Wolf vowed to take legal action action against whoever disclosed the confidentiality agreement.
The Celtics lost Game 4 of the conference finals to the Cavaliers on the night of the alleged incident.
