(PLT), a market leader in the global headsets, voice, and video endpoint market, today announced that its Board of Directors has approved an expansion of the Company’s stock repurchase authorization by one million shares. The expanded authorization brings Plantronics total remaining capacity to approximately 1.7 million shares for future purchases.

Under its expanded stock repurchase program, Plantronics may repurchase shares from time to time in open market transactions or through privately negotiated transactions in accordance with applicable federal securities laws and regulations.
