Points International: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

TORONTO (AP) _ Points International Ltd. (PCOM) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $683,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Toronto-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents.

The provider of technology for loyalty programs posted revenue of $56.4 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $5.4 million, or 41 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $217.4 million.

Points International shares have climbed 12% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $16.07, a rise of roughly 10% in the last 12 months.
