TORONTO (AP) _ Points International Ltd. (PCOM) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $3.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Toronto-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 9 cents per share.
The provider of technology for loyalty programs posted revenue of $82 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $1.5 million, or 10 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $321.8 million.
Points International shares have declined 0.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $7.60, an increase of 3 percent in the last 12 months.
