SAN FRANCISCO, March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- PlumSlice Labs, a pioneer and leader in delivering collaborative, cloud-based digital solutions for smarter retail planning, buying and selling, announced the formation of its first Board of Advisors. The inaugural group brings together retail, ecommerce and IT powerhouse leaders whose experience includes Walmart, SAP, Chico's, GUESS, L Brands and Mercedes Benz.
Board of Advisors members are Karenann Terrell, former CIO of Walmart; Denise Broady, CMO, Workforce Software and former SVP of Marketing at SAP; and Andrea Weiss, Co-Founder of O Alliance, a retail digital transformation consultancy, and former President of retail at GUESS.
"If you were putting together an Olympic dream team to envision the next frontier of omni-channel selling and digital interaction with the consumer, these executives would definitely take us to the podium for gold. PlumSlice is ecstatic all three are joining our inaugural Board of Advisors and we look forward to collaborating on how we can deliver the most advanced and complete digital solutions to help connect sellers and consumers," said PlumSlice Labs founder and CEO Abnesh Raina.
"PlumSlice is focused on the right digital problems that retail is trying to solve, with an end-to-end connected experience. By bringing a complete solution to a seller dealing with so many disparate factors in moving goods from production to eventual sale, PlumSlice streamlines the process, and at the same time, offers the IT expertise retailers need to be effective in a digital universe," said Terrell.
The company's all-encompassing approach to the sales and marketing lifecycle, from product idea to customer sale, motivated Denise Broady to join the inaugural board. "PlumSlice has two key ingredients that make it an attractive startup to join: a happy base of customers and a world class set of solutions that could be a game changer for retailers and distributors. I am very excited to join the advisory board to help scale and get the market educated on how PlumSlice can revolutionize the way retailers and distributors plan, buy and sell," she said.
As an enabler of digital transformation, PlumSlice was a perfect fit for Andrea Weiss who has been a key player in retail's transformation into the digital space, as a strategist and executive leader. "PlumSlice understands the key to retail brand success is using all the digital technology available to sell smarter and engage the customer more deeply. I believe PlumSlice's collaborative platform is exactly what ecommerce businesses need to be effective in a digital culture," said Weiss.
