On the other hand, Durastar SMP (silicon-modified polyester) coatings provide long-lasting, value-oriented color and protection for metal panels, roofs, doorframes, garage doors and other building components made of aluminum, cold-rolled steel and hot-dip galvanized steel. Additionally, Duraform BP (building product) coatings incorporate PPG’s proprietary hyper-branch polymer for protecting and beautifying gutters, downspouts, flagpoles, metal fencing, awnings, metal doors and similar components.
