President Trump cheered on ExxonMobil’s Monday announcement that it would invest in manufacturing projects in the U.S.

said it would expand manufacturing in Texas and Louisiana with planned investments of $20 billion over a 10-year period. The investments began in 2013 and will continue through 2022, Exxon said in a statement.

Trump heaped praise on the gas and oil giant -- most recently run by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson -- for promoting job growth in the U.S.

“This is exactly the kind of investment, economic development and job creation that will help put Americans back to work,” Trump said in a White House statement.

The president then took to Twitter to shower Exxon with more compliments. “We are already winning again, America!” he wrote.

Exxon chairman and chief executive officer Darren Woods said in a statement that Exxon expects the investments to create more than 45,000 jobs that will pay an average of about $100,000 each year.
