President Trump Tweetstorm Attacks NY Times, Ends With A Sales Pitch

President Donald Trump had an early morning tweetstorm on Saturday, taking on the New York Times and its recent reporting on his lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Trump took the gloves off in his comments, which focused on perceptions that Cohen might cooperate in the ongoing investigations into Russia and other issues. He attacked New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, calling her part of a “witch hunt” against him. He also disparaged a former staffer who was part of her story.

Trump ended his Twitter tirade by inviting people to attend his April 28 rally in Washington, Michigan. The event is being held the night of the White House Correspondents dinner, which Trump is snubbing in his ongoing war with certain media.
