Primo Water: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) _ Primo Water Corp. (PRMW) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $58.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of $1.45 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 18 cents per share.

The purified water provider posted revenue of $81.8 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $83 million.

Primo Water expects full-year revenue in the range of $304 million to $308 million.

Primo Water shares have increased 41 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $17.77, a rise of 56 percent in the last 12 months.
