Prince George Stole the Show in the Cambridge Family Christmas Card This Year
After last year's formal portrait by photographer Chris Jackson, the Cambridges decided to go a bit more casual with their 2018 Christmas card. The family's holiday greeting features the above photo, which was taken by Matt Porteous at the family's home Anmer Hall and released earlier this morning.
Per a tweet from Kensington Palace, "the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family."
You might recall Porteous's name, as he was the one who captured that sweet surprise photo of the Duchess of Cambridge and little Prince Louis at her son's christening.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released an additional photograph taken following the christening of Prince Louis on Monday 9th July.
Their Royal Highnesses hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do.

He also took Prince George's birthday portrait this year.

But this snap is decidedly more relaxed than either of those pictures. The whole Cambridge family is posed on a tree, and not only are Will and Kate wearing denim, but so is Prince George. He's even showing off his jeans with his leg in the air. Charlotte, who has on a sweater and skirt, has her hair up in a ponytail, and little Prince Louis, making his royal Christmas card debut, is already proving he knows how to smile for the camera in a pullover sweater and sweet blue shorts.
The Cambridges are keeping busy this holiday season. Not only have the Duke and Duchess been seen at several engagements over the past few weeks, but it was also reported that Kate and Charlotte took a special girls' trip to see the Nutcracker ballet.
In the coming weeks they'll attend the Queen's annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace, then head to Sandringham to celebrate the holiday with the rest of the royal family.
