This year, it looks like Christmas for the royals will be a bit different because the addition of Duchess Meghan Markle. According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry will opt out of the traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot to show solidarity with his wife, who loves animals and hates hunting/blood sports.

Even though Harry has taken part in the Christmas event with his brother and father for more than 20 years, it looks like he's putting Megs before the family tradition. A royal source shares that "Harry’s always loved hunting ... But now it looks like Harry’s shooting days are over." Apparently, Harry also skipped the pheasant shoot last year, because then-girlfriend Meghan "wasn't happy" about the event, and ever since Harry has been skipping royal hunts.

And all I can say to this news is good for Meghan for keeping conviction in what she believes in, and for finding a man who supports her/is also a prince.
