Princess Charlene of Monaco has turned Paris Fashion Week into a royal affair. The famously stylish royal made a surprise appearance in the front row of the Akris Spring/Summer 2023 show on Sunday—a brand that has long been a go-to for the Monegasque royal. Naturally, she looked stunning in an understated pair of navy trousers and a matching jacket with military details. She paired the look with an envelope clutch by Akris and a pair of black pumps, as well as her signature platinum pixie.

After the show, Charlene shared a post on her Instagram, showing herself speaking with Akris's creative director Albert Kriemler, and congratulating the Swiss brand, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

"Thank you Albert for a wonderful evening and congratulations on 100 years of perfection," she wrote in a caption for the post.

The show marks her first major public event since she and her husband, Prince Albert, joined royals from around the globe to attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II last month in London. Following the death of the beloved monarch, who marked her 70th year on the throne earlier this year, Charlene shared another social media post with her condolences on hearing of the queen's passing.

"I am deeply saddened at the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a truly great lady whose dedication and service was recognised throughout the world during the 70 years of her reign," she wrote along with a photo of the late monarch. "Today, my thoughts are with her family, her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and the British people."
