Another royal baby could soon be on the way. Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have a baby plan. The couple married this past October and are excited to start their family, a source told People. The cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank would be in good company with other fellow royal parents.

The couple married at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in October 2018. Princess Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, served as her maid of honor. Living in the apartments of Kensington Palace, it won’t be long until the newlyweds have a little one of their own to join their cousins.

Ingrid Steward, a royals biographer, told People that the couple wants to start their family “as soon as they can.” One person who is definitely excited about the prospect of another royal baby is Princess Eugnie and Princess Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson. Prior to her youngest daughter’s wedding, Fergie was asked how she felt about the prospect of becoming a grandmother during an appearance on the BBC program The One Show.

“Excellent! They are thrilled because I write children’s books and I’m a child, I haven’t grown up,” she shared with enthusiasm. Ferguson is also devoted to the charity Street Child, whose focus is on the barriers to education, with projects that center on a combination of education, child protection and livelihood support, as per the charity’s website.

Princess Eugenie, too, is extremely involved with charitable work as she balances her royal duties with some semblance of a normal life. As such, were she and her husband to have children, providing that sense of normalcy would be a major priority. For now, though, Princess Eugenie is absolutely smitten and happy as a newlywed. “We met when I was 20, he was 24,” she shared during an interview with BBC 1’s Matt Baker. “[We] fell in love. We have the same passions and drive for life.”
