FREMONT, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 30, 2013) - Procera Networks, Inc. (
Now in its ninth year, the BTR Diamond Technology Reviews is a renowned industry program that was developed to recognize some of the top products and solutions available to the cable industry as determined by a stellar panel of cable telecommunications engineering experts. Engineering executives from Boyer Broadband, Time Warner Cable, Brighthouse Networks, Suddenlink Communications, Comcast, Charter and Cox were among the third-party judges for the 2013 Diamonds.
Sample feedback from judges around Dynamic LiveView includes:
- "A very valuable tool. Provides data not available through other sources."
- "Enterprise level visibility and control is a good thing. Extending that with flexible reporting and drilling-down capabilities is better. MSOs will need to set standards on what 'eyes on glass' should watch, but empowering a few data scientists to discover new ways to improve the standards is wise."
- "As a child I would see the advertisements for X-Ray glasses, and imagination of what I could do and see would leave me wishing that they were real. Well the wait is over in a way, the X-Ray-like capabilities into our network traffic that the Procera PacketLogic Dynamic LiveView provides to operators are amazing. The list of smart decisions we are empowered to make with the data details one could gain using this unit gives anyone the confidence to make smart decisions to maximize network traffic efficiencies."
Procera's Dynamic LiveView extends the current PacketLogic Intelligence Center functionality by allowing customized queries to be created for real-time monitoring, dashboards, and network forensics that mix and match subscriber identities, content categorization, device types, network conditions, location, traffic management status, routing and peering attributes, and applications for real-time view of the network traffic. Dynamic LiveView is also available via APIs to enable more efficient dashboards and big data reports targeting specific datasets that are of interest to the network administrators, engineering, operations, and customer service teams.
"We are proud to achieve 4.5 Diamonds-the BTR Diamond Technology Reviews' highest ranking awarded for 2013-with PacketLogic Dynamic LiveView," said Ken Osowski, director of Solutions Marketing at Procera Networks. "Dynamic LiveView was developed not only with service providers' increasing demand for big data analytics in mind, but also because there was an unserved need for real-time network intelligence beyond a Cable MSO's engineering departments. Only Procera has the technology to enable operators to analyze traffic instantaneously, gathering the intelligence they need to operate their network efficiently and profitably."
Procera is proud to belong to the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) and will be exhibiting at the SCTE Cable Tec Expo(R) in Atlanta Oct. 22-24. To speak with a representative and see a live product demonstration, stop by Booth #1616, visit Procera's events page for more information, or follow Procera on Twitter at @ProceraNetworks.
BTR's Diamond Technology Review awards will be announced and distributed during a celebratory reception on Monday, Oct. 21 from 6:30-8:00p.m. at STATS restaurant in Atlanta.
