Progress Software (PRGS) Q2 Earnings and Revenues Beat Estimates

Progress Software (PRGS) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.04 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.95 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.82 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 9.47%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this business software maker would post earnings of $0.85 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.97, delivering a surprise of 14.12%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates four times.

Progress Software , which belongs to the Zacks Computer - Software industry, posted revenues of $150.88 million for the quarter ended May 2022, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 2.98%.
