CARMIEL, Israel (AP) _ Protalix BioTherapeutics Inc. (PLX) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $59.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Carmiel, Israel-based company said it had a loss of 48 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 7 cents per share.
The drug developer posted revenue of $2.9 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at 92 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 81 cents.
