INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Protective Insurance Corporation-A (PTVCA) on Tuesday reported a loss of $707,000 in its third quarter.

The Indianapolis-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for investment gains, came to 6 cents per share.

The insurance company posted revenue of $119.8 million in the period.

Protective Insurance shares have decreased 12% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $14.90, a fall of 30% in the last 12 months.
