PYMNTS and SAP today announced the Payments2CashFlow Challenge. This challenge will provide a limited number of developers the opportunity to create solutions to address one of four complex issues associated with B2B payments.
“The Payments2CashFlow Challenge is a great program to give developers a chance to tackle real-world payments problems that are being encountered by organizations of all types,” said Marty Mrugal, Chief Innovation Officer, SAP North America. “We’re pleased to partner with PYMNTS to provide Challenge participants access to our tools and the expertise we’ve gained from helping companies simplify a range of business processes to unlock competitive advantage.”
Leveraging the power of the SAP Cloud Platform, teams will be given the unprecedented opportunity to access SAP developer tools and tutorials and one-on-one mentorship with key SAP Cloud Platform experts, Ariba solution management experts and PYMNTS team members over the course of the five week challenge.
“What I love about this Challenge is that it is so focused on what enterprise customers say they want and need,” remarked Karen Webster, CEO of PYMNTS.com. “It offers enough structure so that teams know what they’re shooting for, but enough degrees of freedom to enable creative solutions. Kudos to SAP for taking this step – and we are really excited by this collaboration.”
The Challenge will kick off on April 5th and all submissions need be received no later than March 31st. Submissions received before March 13 will be given priority status, and teams will be invited to Innovation Project 2017 on the campus of Harvard University* in Cambridge, MA to meet Payments2CashFlow Challenge team mentors.
