On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had profit of 17 cents.
The asset manager posted revenue of $37.4 million in the period.
Pzena shares have dropped almost 3 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $8.40, a fall of 15 percent in the last 12 months.
