CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (AP) _ Quaker Chemical Corp. (KWR) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $15.6 million.
On a per-share basis, the Conshohocken, Pennsylvania-based company said it had net income of $1.17. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions and non-recurring costs, came to $1.56 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.55 per share.
The specialty chemical company posted revenue of $205.9 million in the period.
Quaker Chemical shares have climbed nearly 3% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $182.27, an increase of roughly 7% in the last 12 months.
