Tesla Inc., up $10.09 to $244.10

The electric vehicle maker plans to raise about $2 billion through debt and stock offerings.

Square Inc., down $5.88 to $67.74

The mobile payments services company reported disappointing payment volume during the quarter and gave investors a weak profit forecast.

Abiomed Inc., down $12.30 to $264.77

The heart device maker's revenue fell short of forecasts during the quarter and it issued a weak revenue forecast for the year.

Zynga Inc., up 31 cents to $5.82

The online games maker reported a surge in bookings during the first quarter and raised its revenue forecast for the year.

Whiting Petroleum Corp., down $3.42 to $23.11

The oil and gas company reported a plunge in revenue and a surprise loss during the quarter.

Under Armour Inc., up 78 cents to $22.82

The sports apparel company swung to a first quarter profit on higher revenue and raised its profit forecast for the year.

Fluor Corp., down $9.43 to $29.72

The engineering and construction company issued an earnings forecast far below what analysts were expecting and reported a huge loss for the quarter.
