The Queen Has Passed Down An Important Role To Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton has got a new role!
The Duchess of Cambridge has become a patron of the Royal Photographic Society, a patronage previously held by the Queen for 67 years.
The new gig has been announced on the same day she visited one of the charities she is a patron for, Action for Children, where she has joined a group of children for a photography workshop run by the society in London.
For the visit, Kate wore a summery patterned midi dress, with a tiered skirt and short flute sleeves, paired with beige espadrille wedges which tie round the ankles.

Kate is known to have a penchant for photography, regularly getting behind the lens of various portraits of her family and children.
In May, the palace released adorable pictures of the Cambridge's daughter, Princess Charlotte to mark her fourth birthday. Kate is also usually the photographer when it comes to her children's birthdays as well as taking the credit for the adorable first snaps of her newborn children, like the one she shared of Charlotte gently kissing her new baby brother Prince Louis in 2018.

Kensington Palace said Kate's new role will fuse both her passion for photography and interest in the mental health and wellbeing of children, particularly in the early years of development, which is evident by a number of the charities she lends her time and resources to like Action for Children.
'The Duchess has a longstanding interest in photography,' the palace said in a statement. 'This patronage will further highlight the beneficial impact that art and creativity can have on emotional wellbeing, particularly for children and young people.'
