Qurate Retail: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) _ Qurate Retail Group, Inc. (QRTEA) on Friday reported third-quarter profit of $72 million.

The Englewood, Colorado-based company said it had net income of 16 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 37 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 33 cents per share.

The online commerce holding company posted revenue of $3.23 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.19 billion.

Qurate Retail shares have fallen 3 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed roughly 10 percent in the last 12 months.
