TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) _ Radware Ltd. (RDWR) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $4.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Tel Aviv, Israel-based company said it had profit of 9 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 18 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 13 cents per share.
The network management software maker posted revenue of $61.4 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $59.5 million.
Radware shares have increased 15% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 18% in the last 12 months.
