Ms. Burak will be responsible for all of the company's finance operations, which will be migrated to Rainmaker's Silicon Valley headquarters in Campbell, CA. Ms. Burak will succeed Timothy Burns, who is assisting with the finance migration from his office at the company's Austin, Texas, facility. Upon the completion of the transition, Mr. Burns intends to leave the company to pursue other interests in the Austin area.

With more than two decades of financial management, strategic insight and profitable growth experience, Ms. Burak officially assumes her duties on January 24. She will join Rainmaker from Foodlink, where she was Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Burak has worked with companies ranging from start-ups, to Fortune 500 global leaders. Under her leadership as Principal Financial Officer at Southwall Technologies, the company returned to profitability and strengthened its balance sheet significantly, enabling investment in new growth opportunities and global expansion. Before joining Southwall, she was Finance Director for the Communications Global Business Unit at Oracle Corporation. Prior to Oracle, Ms. Burak served as Director of Revenue at Portal Software (acquired by Oracle). She has also held various financial management positions with Silicon Valley companies, including Hewlett Packard, TrueSAN Networks, and Zilog.
Ms. Burak holds an MBA and B.S. in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
