Free online event facilitates connections with employers and delivers career-focused guidance to help participants with their career development amid the COVID-19 pandemic

Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college, is hosting its fourth-annual Virtual Career Fair on Sept. 29, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT. Participants can network and discuss qualifications, as well as review and apply to open positions with 50 leading nationwide employers through live chat or video.

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented an unprecedented need for career resources. This free, virtual career fair is for students, alumni and community members looking for career resources such as interview practice, resume review, networking and beyond. Additionally, job seekers can also attend mini preparatory, career-focused workshops and interact directly with the College’s Career Services team, who will be on hand during the event to virtually answer questions and provide career advice.

Because this is an online event, participants have the flexibility to log in and out of the digital platform at their convenience and from any location or device of their choosing.

Recruiting and hiring managers’ jobs are being greatly influenced by technology and virtual engagement in this economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Job seekers must be prepared to virtually engage and use technology to compete in today’s job market. The Virtual Career Fair helps participants grow by allowing them to:

  • Participate in a variety of career-focused webinar events hosted by industry professionals.

  • Interact directly with career services advisors dedicated to professional development.

"Rasmussen College is a career-readiness expert.
