Rayonier Advanced Materials: 1Q Earnings Snapshot

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. (RYAM) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $22 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Jacksonville, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 52 cents.

The maker of cellulose products posted revenue of $483 million in the period.

Rayonier Advanced Materials shares have risen 31% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 25% in the last 12 months.
