JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. (RYAM) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $15 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 37 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 35 cents per share.
The maker of cellulose products posted revenue of $488 million in the period.
Rayonier Advanced Materials shares have fallen 53% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $5.01, a decrease of 75% in the last 12 months.
