The Jacksonville, Florida-based company said it had profit of 15 cents per share.
The maker of cellulose products posted revenue of $201 million in the period.
Rayonier Advanced Materials shares have fallen 15 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $13.21, a rise of 29 percent in the last 12 months.
