OXFORD, Conn. (AP) _ RBC Bearings Inc. (ROLL) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $31.4 million.
The Oxford, Connecticut-based company said it had profit of $1.27 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.33 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.22 per share.
The maker of bearings and components posted revenue of $182.2 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $180 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $105.2 million, or $4.26 per share. Revenue was reported as $702.5 million.
For the current quarter ending in July, RBC Bearings said it expects revenue in the range of $182 million to $184 million.
RBC Bearings shares have risen roughly 6% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 13% in the last 12 months.
