CULVER CITY, Calif. (AP) _ Reading International Inc. (RDI) on Monday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $27.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Culver City, California-based company said it had a loss of $1.24. Earnings, adjusted for pretax expenses, were 1 cent per share.
The movie theater owner posted revenue of $68.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $26.4 million, or $1.17 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $276.8 million.
Reading International shares have dropped 50% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $5.61, a decrease of 65% in the last 12 months.
