It’s official! The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be welcoming a baby at the end of this year.
During part one of the RHOA reunion, Kenya Moore awkwardly revealed that she’s pregnant with her first child, and the response was pretty confused. When host Andy Cohen jokingly asked Moore, “Any word of a baby Twirl?” Moore answered, “Well, he or she wouldn’t be named Twirl, for sure. That’s my dog’s name. But, yes.” There was silence for a few seconds, as no one seemed to be expecting the news. Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams finally realized what Moore had said but waited for her to clarify. “We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year,” Moore said.
For the most part, the housewives were excited for her — except for Sheree Whitfield, who sat emotionless on the couch as the rest of the cast congratulated the mother-to-be.
Cohen, who seemed genuinely shocked by the news, asked Moore how far along she was. “Well, I don’t wanna talk about the details because I’m just still very nervous about everything, and so I just wanna get past a safe place,” she said. Moore may not have gone into too many specifics, but that didn’t stop Bailey from making a prediction about the baby’s gender. “You could have both. You could have twins.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
