RealPage: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

RICHARDSON, Texas (AP) _ RealPage Inc. (RP) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $13.1 million.

On a per-share basis, the Richardson, Texas-based company said it had net income of 12 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 50 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 48 cents per share.

The provider of real estate software posted revenue of $298.1 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $298.3 million, also exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $294.8 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $46.3 million, or 46 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.16 billion.

RealPage shares have fallen slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $86.85, a rise of 44% in the last 12 months.
