RealPage posts 4Q profit

RICHARDSON, Texas (AP) _ RealPage Inc. (RP) on Monday reported fourth-quarter profit of $7.4 million.

On a per-share basis, the Richardson, Texas-based company said it had net income of 9 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 22 cents per share.

The provider of real estate software posted revenue of $149.1 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $148.9 million.

For the year, the company reported net income of $16.7 million, or 21 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $567.2 million.

For the current quarter ending in April, RealPage expects its per-share earnings to range from 21 cents to 22 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $151 million to $153.3 million for the fiscal first quarter.

RealPage expects full-year earnings in the range of 89 cents to 94 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $670 million to $680 million.

RealPage shares have increased 12 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $33.50, a rise of 71 percent in the last 12 months.
