Redwood Trust: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (AP) _ Redwood Trust Inc. (RWT) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $41 million.

The Mill Valley, California-based company said it had net income of 42 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 39 cents per share.

The specialty finance company posted revenue of $131 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $67 million.

Redwood Trust shares have climbed 11 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $16.45, a rise of 10 percent in the last 12 months.
