LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Reeds Inc. (REED) on Wednesday reported a loss of $10.9 million in its fourth quarter.
The Los Angeles-based company said it had a loss of 70 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and to extinguish debt, were 22 cents per share.
The beverage and candy company posted revenue of $9.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $18.4 million, or $1.24 per share. Revenue was reported as $37.7 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.61. A year ago, they were trading at $3.90.
