Tennessee‘s leading returning receiver could be out for the regular season.

According to Rivals’ Volquest.com, Jauan Jennings suffered a dislocated left wrist in the Volunteers’ 42-41 double-overtime win over Georgia Tech. Jennings appeared to get injured as he got hit by two defenders while trying to make a catch. He was taken to the locker room while holding his wrist.

Before he exited the game, Jennings had three catches for 17 yards.

Jennings had 40 catches for 580 yards and seven scores in 2016. One of those touchdowns was the Hail Mary touchdown that gave Tennessee a win over Georgia.

As Jennings missed most of the latter stages of Monday night’s game, Marquez Callaway emerged as a top target for Tennessee. Callaway had four catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns, though his biggest catch might have been a 50-yard grab he hauled in among two defenders on Tennessee’s game-tying drive near the end of the fourth quarter.

Now, Callaway’s presence as a go-to target for QB Quinten Dormady may be even more important.
