Rescue horse's incredible reaction to seeing snow for the first time goes viral

The first snow of the season is always the most magical -- the first snow of a lifetime is even more so.

A heavy dusting of white powder fell in Michigan this week, with some parts of the state experiencing up to eight inches of snowfall in just a 24 hour period.

Perhaps no one was as excited about the wintry weather as Stacey Pierce Dadd's rescue horse, Bella.

Dadd first met her future pet while volunteering at Hope Equine Rescue in Auburndale, Florida, according to PEOPLE.

Bella had already been at the shelter for one year when Dadd arrived. After two years of looking after the beautiful steed, she adopted her and eventually moved her up north.

On Sunday, Dadd posted a video showing the Florida-native horse's first encounter with snow and it is absolutely adorable.

While at first, the horse seems a bit perplexed by the new substance, she eventually decides she loves it and begins rolling around on the white ground like a giant puppy.

"Bella's been dreaming of a white winter and she finally got one this week," she wrote.
