SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Retrophin Inc. (RTRX) on Wednesday reported a loss of $8.6 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 39 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.
The drug developer posted revenue of $37.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $47.9 million, or $1.29 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $133.6 million.
Retrophin expects full-year revenue in the range of $150 million to $160 million.
Retrophin shares have increased 14 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $21.50, a rise of 44 percent in the last 12 months.
