STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Revolution Lighting Technologies Inc. (RVLT) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.6 million.
On a per-share basis, the Stamford, Connecticut-based company said it had net income of 8 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 14 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 9 cents per share.
The LED maker posted revenue of $51.2 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $52.1 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $500,000, or 3 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $172.1 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Revolution Lighting said it expects revenue in the range of $30 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $195 million to $205 million.
Revolution Lighting shares have risen 4.5 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 22 percent in the last 12 months.
