Rihanna and Drake reunited at his birthday party

  • Last year, she apparently “winced” at the mention of his name and said they weren’t really friends.

I regret to interrupt your daily viewing of Rihanna smoking a blunt and walking in slow motion, but there is some big news in the land of her and Drake’s on-again, off-again friendship. As of Monday, the two musical geniuses are officially friends again and had a sweet reunion at his birthday party.

According to E! News, The Shade Room, and some Instagram Stories taken inside Drake’s 32nd birthday party, Rihanna decided to grace him with her presence and showed up to Poppy nightclub in Los Angeles. “Rihanna made an appearance and stayed for several hours,” E! News’ source said. “She was with two girlfriends and was escorted to Drake’s table by security. Her and Drake were talking for a while and were smiling and laughing. It seemed like a very pleasant interaction and they looked like they were having fun together as friends.”

Lest you forget, this is a big f*cking deal considering they both have history. Seriously, just last year, they weren’t really even friends and Rihanna reportedly “winced” when a Vogue writer asked her about Drake. At the time, she said, “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”

Well, it looks like that’s in the past now because he was reportedly really excited to see her when she arrived and even ordered McDonald’s chicken nuggets, fries, and burgers for her and her friends.

All that said, don’t expect them to rekindle their romance because Rihanna is still with her boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, and has been for the past two years.
