MENLO PARK, Calif. (AP) _ Robert Half International Inc. (RHI) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $117.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the Menlo Park, California-based company said it had net income of $1.01.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of $1.01 per share.
The staffing firm posted revenue of $1.55 billion in the period, which also matched Street forecasts.
Robert Half shares have declined 2% since the beginning of the year, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index has climbed 20%. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $55.98, a decrease of 13% in the last 12 months.
