Robinson & Cole Promotes Five Hartford Associates to Counsel

Seeman Robinson+Cole counsel[/caption] Robinson & Cole has promoted eight associates to counsel, including five from Hartford, effective Jan. 1, 2018. The Hartford lawyers are Kathleen Dion, Lisa Riccio, Evan Seeman, Lauren Sigg and Jonathan Small. In addition, Jerome L. Garciano, Sorell E. Negro, and Elizabeth K. Wright are also new counsel. “The elevation of these lawyers further enhances some of our core practices in three of our key markets,” said Managing Partner Stephen E. Goldman. “It’s my pleasure to congratulate this group on their well-deserved promotions.” Details on each of the full group of counselors are as follows: Kathleen E. Dion is a member Robinson & Cole's Litigation Section, where she focuses her on all aspects of civil and criminal litigation. She handles education, government, internal investigations and business disputes. Dion also assists public and private companies with internal investigations including allegations of financial wrongdoing and regulatory non-compliance. She works primarily in the firm’s Hartford office.Jerome L. Garciano focuses on real estate transactions and financing, affordable housing, renewable energy, green building, sustainability and tax credits. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Development Group and represents lenders, equity investors, owners and developers. He works primarily in the firm’s Boston office.Sorell E. Negro represents clients involved in complex real property, environmental and product liability disputes. She often focuses on issues involving national and international environmental laws. Negro is a member of Robinson & Cole’s Land Use, Real Estate & Development, Manufacturing, and Sustainability Groups. She works primarily in the firm’s Miami office.Lisa C. Riccio handles financial matters related to affordable housing and commercial real estate transactions as a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Development Group, primarily in the firm’s Hartford office.Evan J. Seeman concentrates on religious land use litigation, zoning and real property litigation.
