HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) _ Rockwell Medical Inc. (RMTI) on Monday reported a loss of $8 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Hackensack, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents.
The maker of products used in the treatment of kidney disease and anemia posted revenue of $15.9 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $2.46. A year ago, they were trading at $5.57.
