WIXOM, Mich. (AP) _ Rockwell Medical Inc. (RMTI) on Tuesday reported a loss of $12.2 million in its second quarter.
The Wixom, Michigan-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, came to 11 cents per share.
The maker of products used in the treatment of kidney disease and anemia posted revenue of $14.9 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $4.73. A year ago, they were trading at $6.55.
