CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) _ Rogers Corp. (ROG) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $14.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Chandler, Arizona-based company said it had net income of 78 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.13 per share.
The specialty materials company posted revenue of $191.2 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in October, Rogers Corp. expects its per-share earnings to range from 90 cents to $1.10. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had forecast adjusted earnings per share of $1.18.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $175 million to $190 million for the fiscal third quarter. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $209.6 million.
Rogers Corp. shares have increased nearly 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $133.23, a decline of 19% in the last 12 months.
