"It is with great pleasure that Romet Limited announces today that Mr. Jerry Wang has accepted a newly created application/engineering position with Romet's strategic supply chain team. The position was created to provide responsive technical support around customer order requirements and efficient collaboration with Romet's suppliers in order to satisfy the company's business growth and customer satisfaction goals," stated Roy A. Sutterfield, CEO. In this capacity Jerry will report to John Martin, Supply Chain Manager and will have direct interface with Romet's customer base and sales channels.
Jerry joined Romet Limited in 2004 and brings more than 25 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career with China Petroleum Logging Co. Ltd in 1989 as a Mechanical Engineer. In this capacity he was responsible for research, design and development of well-logging downhole tools. Jerry was promoted to Senior Mechanical Engineer and department head, leading the design and development of Measurement While Drilling (MWD) systems.
Jerry has a very strong background in materials, product design, engineering analysis and machining processes as well as in-depth technical knowledge on the performance of Romet's mechanical rotary meters and electronic products.
Jerry holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University of China, and received a Masters of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2009.
Established in 1972, Romet is an international market leader in positive displacement rotary gas meters, instrumentation, services and auxiliary equipment for the natural gas industry.
