ATLANTA (AP) _ RPC Inc. (RES) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $13.4 million.
On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had profit of 6 cents.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 10 cents per share.
The oil and gas services company posted revenue of $376.8 million in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $387.4 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $175.4 million, or 82 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.72 billion.
RPC shares have risen 15 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 54 percent in the last 12 months.
